I just want to say, I've been studying habitat design and this habitat looks absolutely perfect for an animal like a hamster. I know hamsters in traditional cages often suffer from stress and boredom, but with all the things you put in there for him to play with and explore, I'm sure he'll be really happy. And most of it looks handmade too. I love that amount of commitment for a pet most people wouldn't spend more than $30 on. It really shows that you love them.

Does anyone know some good places to buy / order dirt? I can only find fertilized dirt and I don't know if non chemical fertilized dirt is toxic, and how to make sure there aren't chemicals in it. I'm planning on going natural in a few months but I've been struggling with this!!

Hello I just was scrolling through videos and found this hamster cage that you made and I can't help but notice a few things you need to do to help your hamster live a healthy normal life! Please take notice your hamster has to have at least 100 square feet of hamster bedding to Rome on because dirt cant cut it and hamsters need softer bedding material and it helps the hamster to do it's natural instincts. I also see that you aren't putting enough dirt if you are expecting it to burrow and proform it's natural instincts it has to at least have 10 inches of bedding to burrow if you don't like the idea of using all that bedding make sure to get a 10 inch tub that's always accessible for the hamster. Dirt shouldn't be used as much in hamster cages because it can get in there feet and it's fine if you have some bedding you have none though.please keep these things noted to make sure your hamster lives a great life!
