I think the real order of the music videos is:
1. Heavydirtysoul
2. Jumpsuit
3. Levitate
4. Nico and the Niners
This might seem confusing at first since the order in which they were released was Heavydirtysoul, Jumpsuit, Nico and The Niners, and then Levitate, but I think this isn't the actual order of events. Here are some of my reasons for thinking this is the right order:
- The jumpsuits:
Tyler finds a plain green jumpsuit in the back of the Heavydirtysoul burning car. Then he is seen in the same jumpsuit throughout the rest of the Jumpsuit video (plain green). Then in Nico and The Niners, the Banditos give Tyler a camouflage jumpsuit with yellow tape already on it (he later leaves this behind for the people of Dema to find). This means that Levitate has to come before NATN as it is in this video when the Banditos place the tape on the camo jumpsuit.
- The flowers:
Tyler first sees the flowers in the Jumpsuit video (he looks down at them) and takes one with him (laying down with it while the Bishop drags him back to Dema). The next time we see the flowers are in the NATN video but now there are more of them. We already know that Tyler's first escape was symbolized through him walking away from the burning car in Jumpsuit and finding his jumpsuit in the trunk. So, we can assume that the first flower in the drawer came from the events in Jumpsuit (the first escape) and the rest from other escapes taking place after Jumpsuit but before NATN, one of which taking place in Levitate.
The Banditos:
The Banditos first appear in the Jumpsuit video which we can assume is Tyler's first contact with them as this is his first escape from Dema. There are escapes had in between the events of Jumpsuit and Levitate. Levitate shows Tyler and the Banditos during one of these escapes and how they live outside of Dema where they are free. It is also here where Tyler gets the camo jumpsuit and the tape is placed onto it. At the end of Levitate, Tyler is dragged away AGAIN back to Dema by a Bishop. Back at Dema, he makes for another escape with the help of the Banditos. At this point, they know each other very well as Josh and Tyler do their handshake and perform their song together.
- Dema clothes:
There is a required dress code at Dema, everyone must dress the same/ similarly in grey or black clothing. In Heavydirtsoul, Tyler wears a black button-up shirt, the same one we also see in the beginning and end clips of Jumpsuit. He finds the plain green jumpsuit and wears it overtop through the main events in Jumpsuit. Once Tyler is captured and brought back to Dema, he can no longer wear the Jumpsuit (as it is different and everyone must dress the same). We see Tyler without the jumpsuit after escaping in Levitate and when he is preparing for another escape in NATN. The plain green jumpsuit likely got taken away by the Bishops after one of the escapes between Jumpsuit and Levitate and Tyler is given a new camo one with yellow tape.

So with all this in mind, the events of these Dema videos would unfold like so:
- Tyler makes his first escape from Dema as he walks away from the burning car previously driven by the Bishop (Heavydirtysoul & Jumpsuit)
- Tyler finds the plain green jumpsuit (Jumpsuit)
- Tyler begins his trek through Trench now with the green jumpsuit (Jumpsuit)
- Tyler gets taken back to Dema by the bishop with a yellow flower (Jumpsuit)
- There are many more escapes made in between now with the help of the Banditos. For every escape, Tyler places another flower in the drawer (this process isn't shown but we see the resulting flowers in the NATN video)
- The plain green jumpsuit is likely taken away by Bishops (not shown)
- Tyler and the Banditos band together for more escapes. They give him the new camo jumpsuit and place the yellow tape on it (Levitate)
- Tyler gets taken again back to Dema by a Bishop (Levitate)
- Tyler places a flower for his new escape in the drawer and starts to pack for another escape (NATN)
- Tyler meets up with Josh and the Banditos and they make yet another escape (NATN)
- The camo jumpsuit with the yellow tape is left behind for the people of Dema, telling them to escape (NATN)

One remaining question is: what does this mean? Why is the order of these videos even relevant to the rest of Trench?
I think that this loop of escaping over and over again symbolizes that sometimes it is hard to become free of the things that have controlled your life for so long. If Trench is depression or anxiety or just anything in your life you are trying to escape from, then most of you know that it takes a lot to get better and most times you do not stay better.
Tyler (and all of us) have to keep escaping over and over again, even if we know that we might not stay happy or okay. But the point is that we keep trying. We have to keep trying to get better and stay okay and stay alive. Lucky for us though, we are not alone. The Banditos are all of us along with Tyler and Josh. We all know the things we are struggling with and we can all help each other out.
It is a loop of trying to overcome or escape the dark parts of your life, you own Demas, and finding ways to recover and be okay like in Trench, with loving people by your side.

It’s been exactly one year since NATN came out and on the same day the Hype came out.

Tyler filled the bag with things from the Blurryface era but then left the bag in Dema. It's hanging from the statue where the children find the drums and jumpsuit.

It's hard to get a friendship as Josh and Tyler have.Actually a brotherhood.
